Gina Haspel, President Trump’s nominee to head the CIA
The Director of CNS, Karen Greenberg, recently wrote an article for Vox, reporting on the issues surrounding the nomination of Gina Haspel to Director of Central Intelligence. Greenberg highlights Haspel’s background as a clandestine officer during the torturing of prisoners around the world. She continues to say that Haspel’s “nomination is a slap in the face to those who embrace the rule of law, and who view the program as a stain on the United States.”
